Do you even think about what colour to paint your interior window frames? Or have you always just assumed they are supposed to be white? Non-white window frames are a very real option. Painting out the frames can add instant drama to any room, transforming basic architectural details into artful focal points.
The second most popular option (aside from the many iterations of white), not surprisingly, is black. Many manufacturers offer pre-finished black interior frames as an option, so it never hurts to ask. Factory finishes often require less maintenance, so even a slight upcharge is worth it over the long-term.
But black can be too overpowering in some spaces. Or you may just prefer a little more colour and fun.
Is it time you step away from the white?
