Net flooring — sometimes alternatively called hammock or suspension floors — are appearing in a growing number of interiors. Whether you have the need for temporary flooring, would love to make better use of empty vertical space, or are intrigued by the idea of a permanent, indoor suspended room, net flooring may be exactly what you need.
France Trampoline offers the following comments and advice about suspended net floors:
For optimal comfort in a horizontal position, it is recommended to choose braided net: several types of netting are available depending on its place within your house and the use.
If you have children, smaller netting is more comfortable for little feet and will avoid small objects from falling through.
If you have a skylight, we recommend using wider netting to favour natural lighting underneath the net.
It is important to note that these nets must not be used as trampolines. Even if it is tempting to jump on the net we formally advise against it: the attachments fixed into the supporting frame could come undone!
