Artisan Born popped up on my radar at High Point Market. Not at Market, mind you, but more curiously in related social media feeds.
They seem to be a collective of sorts for artisans, helping them focus on the craftsmanship side of their businesses rather than the management and development components.
The Artisan Born Instagram site shares multiple images of quality crafted furniture, lighting, and accessories by artisans around the world.
At this point, there doesn’t seem to be an easy way to connect with the artisans if you find one or more items you’d like to buy, though I suspect that’s part of the longer term model and plan.
Until such time when you can buy, you’ll find plenty of inspiration.
You’ll find a great diversity of styles for all areas of your home.
Most images credit the craftsman, so you can make direct contact if desired.
It’s a great way to support local artisans and to find unique pieces for your next design project.
Or if you find someone whose work you love, you may be able to commission a custom piece that would be perfect for your home.
